Chaunith — Privacy Policy

Account info (name, email, phone, password); booking info (pickup and drop-off addresses including geographic coordinates, scheduled date/time, passenger count, notes); saved addresses (Home, Work, etc.); communications (messages between Riders and Chauffeur Partners, and support contacts); Chauffeur Partner business info (company name, bio, logo, branding, vehicle, pricing, service areas, availability, policies); notification preferences; and basic device/log/usage data.

Payments are processed by Stripe — card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not Chaunith; we receive limited data such as card brand, last four digits, a token, and transaction status; Chauffeur Partner payout/identity details are collected by Stripe via Stripe Connect. We also receive data from Stripe (payment/payout status) and Google Maps Platform (address suggestions, geocoding, routing).

We use information to create and manage accounts; process bookings and match Riders with Chauffeur Partners; calculate quotes and routes; process deposits, balances, refunds, and payouts; enable messaging; send transactional notifications (booking accepted, deposit due, ride completed, cancellation/refund); provide support; maintain safety and prevent fraud; comply with law; and improve the Platform.

We share information: between the Rider and matched Chauffeur Partner (the info needed to complete the trip — name, phone, pickup/drop-off; each party can only access bookings and messages they are a party to); with Stripe to process payments/payouts; via Google Maps for routing; with service providers that host and operate the Platform; for legal and safety reasons; and in a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information for money.

You can access and update your account info, saved addresses, payment methods, and notification preferences in your account settings, and may request deletion of your account (subject to records we must retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes).

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Platform and meet legal obligations.

We use access controls limiting each user to their own data and rely on Stripe for card handling; no system is completely secure.

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18.

Third-party services (Stripe, Google) are governed by their own privacy policies.

We may update this Policy with a new effective date.
